Latin name for lemon balm: Melissa officinallis
Other names for lemon balm: Melissa, Lemon mint, Balm mint, Honey plant, Sweet balm, Blue balm
Lemon balm tisane (or lemon balm tea) benefits:
- it soothes cramps
- regulates digestion
- strengthens and invigorates the body
- prevents nervous vomiting
- soothes headaches and migraines
- reduces depression, insomnia and anxiety
- improves memory
- brings good thoughts
- drives away or helps in dealing with the dark thoughts
- makes you feel good and relaxed.
Lemon balm tisane ( lemon balm tea ) recipe:
- boil 1 cup of water in the tea pot
- when water reaches boiling point remove the pot aside
- put 1 teaspoon or less of chopped fresh lemon balm leaves (or 2 whole leaves) or 1/2 teaspoon or less of minced dry lemon balm leaves
- leave it like that for 5-10 minutes
- filter your tisane
- to improve taste, add some lemon juice or 1 teaspoon of honey
- enjoy your homemade lemon balm tisane and relax by slowly sipping it
- RELAX! :)

DON'T USE TOO MUCH , JUST ONE CUP OF TISANE WHEN NEEDED FOR RELAXATION!
Lemon balm tea is a used by some Chinese in the past but the most popular tea is still green tea. But according to what I've rea from one doctors article from a tulsi herb can also be made into a tea which almost have the same benefit with Lemon Balm tea and Green tea.
